Final Blend      Blend two layers to best effect. You may want to use Soft Light blending mode at about 80% as a starting place, then play with the settings until it pleases you. If the grain is too much, blur one of the layers a bit.

Flatten again. Brighten, deepen, adjust contrast or saturation -- or whatever else the image needs.
