A few new irises continue to bloom. Some that were planted last year did not bloom at all, and I lost completely a handful, but considering everything, I've been pleased with my irises this year. I'll dig some beds this August that do not have the type of soil that is best or are not elevated enough to drain well. I expect my irises to do better next year.
