I planted mums and mexican zinnias in
the front beds.
I also dug a new bed where the little strip of grass was
along the brick walk in the front. I planted a homestead
verbena in the corner and a fern in the other. I put the chairs over
the fern to keep it in the shade until I have a
fence up. I'll plant Asiatic lilies, I
think, along the walk when cool weather comes, or whenever I
can find the bulbs that I want. Eventually, I plan to dig
the sod from the other side of the walk clear to the walk to
put in more flowers. I'm hoping to get to that before winter sets in. |
