We had another good rain that really perked up the garden. The first lily pictured is a beautiful trumpet named, "Lilium Regale."

The second picture is my dog, Annie, next to the coreopsis which are still blooming. The last picture is of Four O'Clocks. I have liked them since childhood. I think it was the curious name and the fact that they don't open until the sun goes down that first captured my imagination. I suspect that I make room for a few Four O'Clocks in my garden mostly out of nostalgia..
