By the end of February the crocus were blooming. Lots of them came up through the mulch in the paths. Last fall I had widened the paths when I decreased the size of the flower beds to make them easier to tend as I age. I'll move the crocus and other bulb flowers from the paths to the beds when they are through blooming.
