Because Mary warned of gloomy wet weather later in the week, we decided to use our first day of sight seeing in Washington to drive to Mt Rainier National Park. We urged our hosts to come with us, but Mary had to work. At the last minute Barney decided to come along. I'm glad he did, because it was the only day he would get to come with us.
