I thought about the stuffed cougar at the nature center as we found the trailhead marked on the map and began a hike toward a swinging bridge. It looked like an easy trek on paper, but we never made it to the bridge.
My sister and I are both over sixty, and in no way athletes. Plus the path was rocky and very difficult in places, so we reluctantly turned around a mile and a half into the trail. It was a good two-hour hike, though, through ruggedly beautiful terrain in nearly perfect weather. It was nice to get out into nature again. Next Page Watch Movie
