Dear Erik...

How does one thank a friend for such generosity? You have given me the best vacation of my life. What it lacked in length, it more than made up in quality. I shall never forget your gift -- so unexpected and most graciously given. Nor could I ever forget the wonderful things we saw and did. It was especially nice because we did it all together -- you, Jill, and me -- truly excellent company. I hope this travelogue will bring back the pleasant memories for you and Jill as it does for me. What more can I say? You are a dear and I thank you from the depths of my heart -- for being Erik, for being my friend, and for the extrordinary gift.
