"Prairie Blue Eyes" (Marsh, 1970) 5 1/4" bloom, 28" tall, Mid Season. Majestic, bluish-purple with shining, bright-yellow centers. Demure white midribs and dark veins. Petals are finely ruffled with slight seersuckering. Flower tend to raspberry color when weather is cool. Award winner. Semi-evergreen. Extremely disease resistant. It is reported that Prairie Blue Eyes pumps out blooms for weeks each summer. For me it blooms from mid June to mid July.
