"Carolyn Criswell" (Harris-Petree 1977) 4 1/4" flowers, 23" tall. Soft yellow sepals with a large, canary yellow eye and lime green throat. Extra wide petals with pronounced ruffled edges; sepals are smooth. The best daylily foliage; deep blue green and remarkably insect and disease resistant. Reported to bloom for over several weeks beginning in early summer. Flowers last at least 16 hrs each. In my garden it begins blooming in mid June through early July. |
