"August Flame" (Woods 68) 40" tall hybrid. The tall scapes are topped with clusters of large, bright red flowers, each centered with a dramatic yellow blotch. I acquired this daylily from Plant Delights in 2006. The bloom season in my garden begins in mid July and continues into late August.
