Not all of the marinas we visited were
places to dock pleasure boats. We also went to a couple of marinas for
fishermen. Chris talked to a commercial fisherman (pictured
below) who was baiting lines for blue crabs. He described how it was done, and it sounded pretty simple. To catch crabs he ties the bait onto a string, and then tosses it a few feet away in shallow water. The
crabs latch on and stay on the line, allowing him to pull them up. Those baskets were crab baskets. From the looks of the small motorboat pictured last, I suspect it belongs to a fisherman.
