We found these old steps and
crumbling stonewall in the tiny town of Port
Deposit, Maryland. I don't know why other people like ruins, but I find comfort in the paradox that man can build things that endure for so long, even while the earth slowly reclaims what is neglected and forgotten. The last shot was taken at a cemetery on the way to Port Deposit. The sun was low in the western sky and on its way to this shot. We just had to wait around to get it. |
