These sunflowers were growing on an
empty lot between two old houses in the town of Port Deposit, our hands down favorite little
town. The people were friendly and real, and they had Moose Tracks ice cream.
Many of the gardens we saw were in lovely residential areas and were behind fences, so we didn't
get to tour them. Well, the gates were nice, anyway. These purple coneflowers were in Chesapeake City
-- with no fence.
