The drive up Mt. Nebo is steep with hairpin curves, but the view of the Arkansas Valley is worth the climb. Our father had been in the CCCs as a young man. They constructed many of the park's bridges, trails, and buildings. He took us to Nebo when we were kids and we wanted to see it again. We took the first hike of our trip on the Rim Trail.   More here
